How do X-Rays work?
X-rays use a small amount of radiation to create images of the inside of the body. As X-rays pass through the body, different tissues absorb them at different rates, producing detailed images of bones, joints, and certain organs.
Fast, painless, and non-invasive, X-rays help doctors diagnose a wide range of conditions and guide appropriate treatment.
Is having an X-Ray safe?
X-rays are a safe, quick, and effective way to look inside the body and help diagnose a wide range of conditions. They use a very small amount of radiation to create detailed images of bones, joints, and certain organs.
Modern digital X-ray technology uses the lowest radiation dose necessary while producing high-quality images, making X-rays one of the most commonly used and trusted medical imaging examinations.
